I graduated from the Macaulay Honors College at Hunter College with a degree in Biological Sciences and a minor in African, Puerto Rican, and Latino studies. I have extensive and varied experience in terms of education. Working in Kindergarten programs from East Harlem to Kingston, Jamaica and providing free science-based health education to underfunded NYC schools has given me the opportunity to work with all types of students. Serving as a conservation educator with the Wildlife Conservation Society and training new assistants in the Bargonetti Oncology lab at Weill Cornell Medical School allowed me to hone my skills teaching science and math. I take pride in watching my students grow and progress into future scientists, doctors, lawyers or whatever they intend to use their skills to achieve!
During my personal time, I enjoy keeping up with domestic and foreign affairs and snapping nature photography of local wildlife. I am the director of the SHSAT Program at JM Learning.
