I’m a writer, born and raised in South Brooklyn. I attended Stony Brook University, graduating in 2013 with a degree in Cinema and Cultural Studies. At JM Learning, I help students write their college and graduate school entry-level essays, including both personal statements and supplements. My approach is to assist them in writing unique, well-structured, and personal pieces. I believe it is important to leave a powerful impression on the admissions officer by not only focusing on the context but the subtext of a student’s essay. By combining the elements of classic storytelling, poetic language, and uniquely tailored subject matter, I assist each student in memorably conveying their desired story. Outside of work, I am a musician and a published author. I write music, sing, and perform all over NYC as both a solo act and with my band. I also write and sell poetry. My two biggest joys in life are traveling and playing music.
